A few weeks ago I picked up a used small brown table, the kind with a formica top. I got creative with it and painted it "barnhouse red" and stenciled the alphabet around the sides. Andrew and Lauren use this table for snacks and meals now and it's a great way for them to learn the alphabet & colors, too!
Andrew started peewee soccer a few weeks ago. He is probably the youngest in the class hence maybe the reason he'd rather pick the dandelions rather than kick the soccerball but at least it's a reason to be out and social with other 2 & 3 year olds.
We've also started a Gymboree class once a week for both Andrew & Lauren. They LOVE it! It's an indoor gym with all sorts of climbing equipment and they do lots of singing, bubbles, and tactile exercises. It's a 45 minute class and they're always excited to get there and they're in tears when it's time to go.
The weather has warmed up and we've had 90+ degree temps the last few days. The heat isn't that bad but when the humidity is high it makes it almost unbearable to be outside. Luckily between the beach and the "sprayground" there's always a fun way to cool off. Here are some pictures of our day at the beach (Saturday) and the sprayground (today)
